Grandma's Kiwi Kitchen started out as a tiny market stall selling a few NZ - style cakes, slices and biscuits. Before long, the menu expanded to include Boil Up, Whitebait fritters and Battered mussels. One stall, became two, then three stalls across various markets in Brisbane. The high demand for NZ delicacies drove Grandma to give customers a permanent location for homesick Kiwi's to get their food fix. On Jan 1st 2014, Grandma's Kiwi Kitchen launched GKK Springwood.

Very much a family affair, matriarch Colleen aka Grandma, daughter Jayde and son Andre are passionate, hands-on owner/operators, serving quintessential Kiwi favourites alongside contemporary café fare. Hordes of homesick Kiwis flock to GKK for that 'taste of home'. Everything is made by hand, to Grandma's own recipes so you can be assured that lot of love goes into each dish.

Grandma's Kiwi Kitchen also showcases NZ artwork, Kiwiana and souvenirs.
